Brought to life by Northern Hospitality, the team behind Chuck Trailer’s and the late Neighbourhood Bondi (R.I.P), The Beekeeper is a nostalgic throw-back to the owners Northern English heritage. A community where good times are shared over a pint, roasts are served, and bar seat banter is plentiful.
At its heart, The Beekeeper is about authenticity, from Ploughman’s lunch to the Sunday Roast with all the trimmings, every dish on the menu is crafted with intention.
Expect elevated pub favourites including Scotch Eggs, Gammon Dinners, and proper Fish & and Chips - all made with locally sourced produce and plenty of northern soul.
Leading the charge in the kitchen is English Head Chef Kevin Davis, who began his career in London before making waves at Bondi institutions Drake and Neighbourhood. Kevin brings decades of experience, a passion for precision, and a menu designed to feel like home and keeps you coming back.
Beer lovers will feel right at home with plenty of classic options, including iconic British pints like Guinness and and seasonal hand pulled ales. Whether you’re here for a round with mates or sipping a Gin & Tonic in a quiet corner, The Beekeeper is the perfect pour.
Housed in the heritage-listed Fellworth Flats The Beekeeper is steeped in history was built circa 1910. The venue retains many of its original features - from the traditional sash windows to pressed metal ceilings and an original working fireplace - making it the perfect setting to bring English pub tradition to life.
The site, once owned by a prominent Sydney hotelier who operated several local pubs in the early 20th century, The Beekeeper gives a respectful nod to this rich past while creating a new chapter in the building’s storied legacy.
“The name The Beekeeper is a tip of the hat to Manchester’s famous worker bee - a symbol of hard work and community. We want The Beekeeper to be the heart of the local community - a place where people come together over a proper pint and a warm welcome,” says owners Ben Campbell and Brendan Darcy.
